In efforts to create a better gambling atmosphere in the betting shops, Ladbrokes embarks on a marketing campaign to remodel their stores.

Ladbrokes stores will feature digital and experiential elements in all of their betting shops. The mobile betting firm wants to stand out from the rest of the gambling companies, by having something unique and different.

They have enlisted the expertise of design firm FITCH to make sure that every detail of their new agenda is perfectly executed. A store format will be trialled in Ladbrokes central London shop to kick-off the new marketing campaign.

One of the main aims with the new idea is to create a soothing atmosphere in the shops, by having great in-store engagement that cannot be experienced when betting online. Posters will be replaced by digital content containing broadcasts and updates, while a so-called “social hub” will be positioned in the center of the stores so customers can chat and watch games.

Different kind of betting experience

According to gambling news, Group property and procurement director at Ladbrokes, Chris Robson, stressed that the company wants to offer a one of a kind betting experience to their customers.

“The new shop aims to differentiate Ladbrokes from the normal traditional format of the betting shop. Retail is evolving and we are keen that our customer experience evolves with it. The Strand shop is a great way to test out new ideas and see how the customer reacts.”
