Everton avoided relegation in the very last part of the league last season. Their pre-season isn’t one to praise either. These matches are only friendlies and have no real importance but they still show some insight into the situation at a club. And a 4-0 loss to Minnesota United is a tad bit embarrassing for a Premier League side. However, when playing at Goodison Park, Everton beat Chelsea every single time since 2019. Firstly, for this reason, we’d like to convey that despite the odds favouring Chelsea, Everton might very well win the match on Saturday.

The Blues only managed to sign Sterling and Koulibaly, who are both great players but looking at the list of missed signings, this is a bit underwhelming.
