The upcoming matchup at Falmer Stadium is not as one-sided as many would think. Graham Potter left Brighton in September and this will be the first time he faces his old club. Interestingly enough, the Seagulls haven’t won a single league game since their old manager’s departure. In comparison, the Blues have not lost a game since the changes in managers. The Brighton v Chelsea betting previews split the results three ways almost identically. 35% are in favour of the hosts, 30% for a draw, and 35% for the visitors.
Chelsea have been in good form lately but they’ll be missing some key players. According to reports, Koulibaly, Kante, James, and Fofana are out indefinitely. Joel Veltman and Kaoru Mitoma are out as well for Brighton. The Blues should be the favourites here but they drew against Brighton in the previous three matches. We expect the hosts to score at least one goal but the final result should be 2-1 for Chelsea. Mason Mount and Kai Havertz are favoured as Chelsea’s goalscorers for this upcoming match.
