The Oilers are now one of the most popular teams in the NHL and many ice hockey betting experts feel this could be the year they win their first Stanley Cup since 1990.

Edmonton has performed leaps and bounds better under the Connor McDavid era and are a solid pick for which NHL teams will make the playoffs this season. At the moment, their odds to make it into the postseason are set at 1.08.

Bet on the San Jose Sharks: 1.50

San Jose was seen as one of the best teams in the NHL just a few years ago but changes to their roster and unfortunate performances in the playoffs over the past several years had some analysts voicing their opinion that the Sharks had become a mid-tier team.
