British gamblers spent great amounts on TV betting last year, making NetPlay TV the largest interactive TV gaming company in the UK.
NetPlay TV offers creative profitable games, which people can play on TV, online or on their mobile devices. The interactive gaming company present games like TV roulette and live blackjack, which its customers love, therefore the enterprise turned into the largest one of its kind in the UK, making it into the gambling news across the country and abroad.
Only last year alone, players spent GBP 1 Billion with NetPlay TV, offering its late-night services on ITV and Channel 5.
The gross bets increased by almost 1/3, after the company attracted more customers through TV broadcasts and due to ITV expanding coverage after midnight to six nights a week, as well through its mobile apps.
Revenues
The pre-tax profits of the company rose 32% to GBP 4.1 million on the revenues of GBP 28.5 million.
Despite the great results, Charles Butler, chief executive of NetPlay TV, commented that the profits would be negatively affected with almost 40% this year.
The reason for that is the plan of the authorities to introduce change in the gambling laws in the UK
, namely “point of consumption” tax on companies which provide remote gambling in the UK.
