With the 2016-17 NBA season now officially underway, here are the top three games to bet on tonight with GTBets!

The first few games of the new NBA season have already gone down, and each was full of drama. The Golden State Warriors were handily defeated by the San Antonio Spurs, and the Cavs feel short against the Knicks. Now let’s take a look at the top three NBA games to bet on tonight.

Miami Heat vs. Orlando Magic

The battle of Floridian teams goes down tonight, as the Miami Heat looks to start their season off on a good note opposite the Orlando Magic. It’s been more than two years since Lebron left the Heat, and the team has yet to find their groove ever since.

NBA Betting Odds for Tomorrow’s Games

  • Miami Heat: +155
  • Orlando Magic: -175
  • ————————————-

  • Los Angeles Lakers: +245
  • Houston Rockets: -290
  • ————————————

  • Brooklyn Nets: -110
  • Boston Celtics: -110

Miami made US gambling news this year by bringing in Hassan Whiteside and Udonis Haslem. Much attention is also going towards Goran Dragic this season, who scored 17 points in a 107-77 win over the heat during the preseason. Still though, questions remain about how the Heat will fare without their former prized players.

Orlando also has some soul searching to do after finishing dead-last in last season’s Southeast Division. They made some major changes to the team this season however, most notably bringing in new coach Frank Vogel and power forward Serge Ibaka, who might win the NBA player worst name award, but was likely the MVP of the preseason. The winner of this game could determine who makes it to the playoffs. Orlando is actually the favorites to get the victory in this one with odds of -175, and Miami enters as the underdog with odds of +155 according to GTBets.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Houston Rockets

The Los Angeles Lakers are likely still trying to get over the fact that Kobe Bryant has retired, and this game against the Rockets should give an indication as to where their head it at.

With a new head coach, and plenty of up and coming stars, the Lakers might actually benefit from having Bryant gone. Hopes are high for D’Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson this year, and it will largely be up to the two shooters to carry the Lakers’ offense this season.

You could argue that the Rockets have the advantage in almost all areas heading into tomorrow’s game. The GTBets betting lines certainly think so, as Houston is listed as a -290 favorite to get the win. A few of the Rockets’ players to watch include Eric Gordon and James Harden.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics are heading into the game against Brooklyn as the betting favorites according to almost all online sportsbooks in the US. The Nets are seen by some as the perfect matchup for Boston. Of all the NBA games to bet on tonight, this one might be the most exciting.

The Celtics received the third overall draft pick from the Nets last season. Al Horford was arguably most important player on the team last year, although Amir Johnson was key on defense as well. Boston has shown a bit of a weakness defending against the bigger players, something they will need to work on as the season progresses.

The Nets signing Jeremy Lin will be important, but the loss of Thaddeus Young could seriously impact the team moving forward. Perhaps the greatest asset on the Nets is Brook Lopez. The 7’ center is just the person to exploit the aforementioned weakness of the Celtic’s defense, and it may be him racking in the points tonight.

All three games of these NBA games to bet on should produce fireworks. Which teams do you think walk away with the victory tonight? Tell us what you think by leaving a comment below, and make sure to check out GTBets for a full list of all the NBA betting lines tonight!
