Legal live betting and cash poker in Australia moves closely to reality if the Federal Government briefing is to be believed.
Swiss gambling news prohibit operation and advertising of any real money online casinos in the country, yet there are many proponents of a move, which should change that.
The Swiss Casinos Group has recently opened a free-to-play online casino on the Swiss gambling market. Some analysts regard the move as an attempt to win some ground in case real money gambling would become legal. Others call it a “cry for help” attempting to draw much needed attention to the issue of online casinos in Switzerland.
The new casino can be accessed via a dedicated page on the Swiss Casinos Gruppe website. It only welcomes members of 18 years of age and older, residing in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Members play for credits, which can later be redeemed at land-based Swiss Casinos in St. Gallen, Schaffhausen, or Pfaffikon SZ.
Switzerland gambling news report that points awarded while playing at the online casino can be later exchanged into non cash prizes, ranging from a single drink to a whole casino aperitif party for 20 people worth CHF 1,000.
The new online casino offers its members six card games, nine slots, five table games and four video poker games. The titles include American Roulette, Blackjack, Craps, Sic Bo and many others. The company also plans to offer a “Freeroll online poker room” in the future.
The casino serves the purpose of attracting potential online visitors and directing them to the land-based Swiss Casinos Group outlets by offering rewards and incentives. The new online casino also received a presence on social network Facebook.
