Social Gaming Association Formed To Standardize Gambling Industry

The Social Gaming Association (SGA) has been officially formed in London last week, UK gambling news report.
The association has been launched to provide a united voice and form a set of socially responsible standards for the social gaming industry. The SGA also aims to educate policy makers such as the British gambling law enforcing bodies about social gaming.
The SGA main goal is to develop a self-imposed, socially responsible code of conduct for its Members. They also plan to monitor legal, regulatory and commercial issues. Another big task for the SGA is to challenge discriminatory legislations concerning social gaming.
The SGA also announced to support charitable causes and other socially responsible initiatives.
Membership to the SGA is open to everyone. The basic SGA membership is free, the association welcomes start-ups, developers, venture capitalists as well as policy makers.
There are packages of paid membership available for online and mobile casino operators, game publishers and governments who want to access the SGA’ real-time information library.
Stuart Tilly, executive director of the SGA commented: “The Social Gaming Association has been established to unify all of the publishers, suppliers, investors and entrepreneurs within the social gaming community as a united front to protect and further the legal, regulatory and commercial interests of this vibrant and dynamic industry.”
