SBTech will help BetFirst launch its online and mobile sports betting platform on the Belgian gambling market.
Land-based and online sports wagering solutions provider SBTech has recently sealed a deal with BetFirst to improve the bookmaker’s online sportsbook in Belgium, as well as its mobile sports betting services. Under the agreement, the bookmaker will switch from its current provider to the platform provided by SBTech.
Betting on sports via the internet is very popular in the country, but under Belgian gambling laws operators must hold a land-based license before launching a website. The increasing popularity of the service has convinced BetFirst that it is time to improve their online and mobile offers.
Improved online and mobile betting services
The website will include new features such as live and mobile betting, offering more than 13,000 live events on a monthly basis, as well as over 200 different types of bets. Fast market betting will also be included in BetFirst’s fresh offer.
Managing director Lionel Lammens said: “SBTech’s offering is second to none. Their convergence solutions for online, mobile and retail will give us unique added value, help us grow faster and provide our loyal players with an even better betting experience.”
Itai Zak, chief executive officer of SBTech, added: “BetFIRST is yet another highly respected operator who has chosen to switch to our superior platform because of our constant innovation and proven experience in regulated markets.”
