After five years, RTG’s Neil Goulden is to retire from his leading role at the British gambling-related charity.
In a press statement, the Responsible Gambling Trust (RTG) confirmed that Neil Goulden will no longer chair the independent national charity. Goulden chaired the trust since its launch in 2011. During his leadership, RTG’s annual fundraising reached GBP 6,5 million. RTG uses the funds to subsidize and support treatment services, research and harm prevention.
RTG’s Neil Goulden feels it is a good time to step down
“I am proud that RGT has grown into a financially and operationally stable charity that does exceptional work in minimising gambling-related harm,” said Goulden. “Neil has been an outstanding chairman,” commented Marc Etches, Chief Executive of RTG, adding that without Goulden “RGT would not be as well placed as it is today to meet its charitable objectives.”
