New online iGaming platform is part of Atlantic City’s Resorts Casino Hotel investment project to continue growth and ensure success.
Atlantic City’s Resorts Casino Hotel is following the growing trend of online gambling by offering an online gaming platform, under US gambling laws, in New Jersey. Included on the platform of the real-money online casino are a wide array of casino slots and table games, as well as exclusive titles, new to the US online gaming market.
More and more land-based resorts are building partnerships with established online gaming companies such as SNG Interactive, Sportech and NYX Gaming Group to obtain online casino platforms. Morris Bailey, Resorts owner, had also hinted that the Amaya-owned online gaming brand, PokerStars could become ‘the online presence for Resorts once it gains approval from New Jersey regulators’.
Launch of PokerStars in New Jersey still not confirmed
PokerStars was close to signing an agreement to have a license in the state but since then there has been no more news as to whether it will also be launched in New Jersey. For the moment though gamblers in the state can go to the Resorts Casino website, and visitors to the Resorts land-based site can play online casino in the US at the new Resorts iGaming Lounge accommodation that has been built with a view to make the casino conducive to online gaming activities, in a live casino environment.
According to US gambling news, Bailey said “We will offer our players the opportunity to play all their favourite casino slots and table games at their leisure anywhere in New Jersey, while also providing customers the chance to experience online gaming during their visit to Resorts in Atlantic City”.
