After months of speculation regarding his future, Colombia international Falcao has finally been unveiled as the new strike force of Chelsea.
The Blues have proudly unveiled their latest summer recruit Falcao, who will be looking to bag some goals in the oppositions net once the season gets underway. Gambling news reports that he has penned a year-long loan for a rumoured GBP 130,000 per week and the deal may turn into a permanent deal at the end of the season, if Chelsea deem him beneficial enough for their future plans.
It is not a surprise that the former Porto and Atletico Madrid striker joined the London side, as Blues boss Jose Mourinho has already made it public knowledge that he admires the imposing striker. The question that the Portuguese manager will have to solve now is how to accommodate Falcao into the Chelsea frontline, considering there are already 2 other strikers in Costa and Remy.
Falcao aims to do better than last season for Man Utd
Falcao stated that he is ready to take on the English Premier League for a second season, despite flowing for Manchester United, where he only managed to score 4 goals, gaming news report. “I am very happy to be joining Chelsea and can’t wait to start training and help with our aim of retaining the league title and being successful in Europe.”
As part of the agreement, Chelsea youngster Mario Pasalic, who spent last season on loan at Spanish side Elche, has also gone in the opposition direction on a loan deal. He will ply his trade for the French side in the upcoming season, where he could further develop his talents, online sportsbooks in EU report.
