We’ll take a look at the remaining games for Saturday in our betting preview part II, but also the 2 other encounters set to be played on the 1st day of March. UK gambling news report Everton will face a stern challenge when they visit London on Sunday as they gear up to play Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
• Stoke City favorites against Hull City
• Southampton looking to overcome West Brom away
• Liverpool and Manchester City will go head to head
Stoke City vs Hull City will provide plenty of betting opportunities considering the performances of both sides in recent times. Southampton will play against West Brom away where they will aim to capture the 3 points in order to bring them back into the top 3 of the Premier League. And lastly Liverpool will go head to head with current defending champions Manchester City.
Stoke City vs Hull City and West Brom and Southampton
Stoke City are currently in the middle of the table and they have 36 points to their name. in the last 5 matches they notched 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss, which isn’t bad for a team of their size but some in the football industry believe they could have done better. At home their record is quite ambiguous (5 wins, 2 draws and 5 losses), however Bet365 still retains full confidence in them to win 1.95 (10/11) against Hull City.
The Tiger are currently located all the way down in 15th spot with an overall points tally of 26. While playing away from home they have notched 2 wins, 5 draws and a staggering 6 losses, so it was easy for mobile betting providers to give them outsider odds 4.20 (16/5) against Stoke. A draw between the two stands at 3.30 (23/10), an event that is also likely.
West Brom find themselves in 14th position with 27 points, however their form is not great having secured 1 win, 1 loss and 3 draws in the last 5 games. On the road they maintain a very bad record (2 wins, 6 draws and 5 losses) so it is no surprise that Bet365 does not favor them to win 3.30 (23/10), judging by their lackluster performances.
Southampton had a great run in the league until recently. They usurped Manchester United and other top sides as they held onto their high position on the table for quite a while. But many rightfully have indicated that it is a matter of time before they lose their form and they now sit in 5th place with 46 points. But they are still favorites 2.25 (5/4) to beat West Brom on Sunday. A draw 3.25 (9/4) between them should also be considered when placing a bet on this match.
Liverpool vs Manchester City and Arsenal vs Everton
Liverpool are not the same team as last year when they were closely challenging for the title with Manchester City. This season they have been significantly weakened by the departure of Luis Suarez to Barcelona, the man that actually scored against the Sky Blues twice on Tuesday in the 1/16 finals of the Champions League. The Reds currently sit in 6th place with only 45 points however their form has seen them notch an impressive 4 wins and only 1 draw.
Manchester City will be aiming to overcome Liverpool so they can close the gap between them and current Premier League leaders Chelsea. Bet365 has ranked Manuel Pellegrini’s outfit as the favorite side 2.50 (3/2), while the hosts have been dealt underdog status 2.75 (7/4) for this encounter. A draw 3.50 (5/2) between them is also worth considering as the game could go in either way, although Manchester City will probably take home with the 3 points.
Arsenal will face Everton at home on Sunday afternoon which should provide a thrilling game for many fans around the globe. Arsene Wenger’s men currently sit in 3rd place thanks to the brilliant performances that they have put on in recent games. Over the last 5 games they recorded only 1 loss, while the other encounters finished in 4 wins. Online sportsbooks in UK have outlined as strong favorites 1.50 (1/2) for the match, due to their great run so far.
Everton lie in 12th position with 28 points and they have been experiencing some tumultuous times at the moment recoding 1 win, 2 draws and 2 losses in the last 5 games. Their star striker Lukaku has managed to impress lately so they will be looking to utilize his skills for this game. Bet365 has decided to give them outsider odds 6.50 (11/2), while a draw stands at 4.33 (10/3). Whichever way the game goes, it should produce some great action for the fans.
