Who is the betting favorite?
According to Bovada, the favorite heading into to the 2016 World Series of Poker main event at the end of the month is Cliff Josephy. The New York native has been a professional player for years, but 2016 marks his first time making it to the WSOP November Nine. Josephy is leading the total chip percentage at the moment with 22%, and has already earned over $800,000 in this tournament. His odds to win sit at +225.

When looking at the odds, you notice a direct correlation between the total chip holders and WSOP betting favorites. Behind Cliff Josephy is Qui Nguyen, who’s odds are currently at +400. Nguyen holds a 20% of the WSOP chips. Gordo Vayo is the third most likely winner at +500, and a player that many people that enjoy internet gambling in the US are placing their bets on the 2016 World Series of Poker to win.
