One of Germany’s best MMA fighters returns to the octagon on May 28th, and VBet Sportsbook is allowing their members to bet on how he does.
On May 28th, the UFC returns to Stockholm with a card headlined by two of the best light-heavyweights in the world. Before the main event however, one of Germany’s best MMA fighters will be competing against a tough veteran of 30 fights.
Peter Sobotta will be looking to earn his second straight victory here. The Bisingen-based fighter is on his second stint with the UFC, and looked better than ever in his most recent victory over Nicolas Dalby. With a strong ground game and improving striking, Sobotta is a great MMA betting option here, though he’s entering this fight against Ben Saunders as the slight underdog with odds of 1.90.
Saunders is also in the midst of his second run with the UFC. He’s won 5 of his past 6 fights in the promotion, including two straight over Jacob Volkmann and Court McGee. Ben has a very similar style to Sobotta, and is the favorite here according to most online sportsbooks in Germany with odds of 1.80.
Bet on Gustafsson vs. Teixeira in Germany
After one of Germany’s best MMA fighters steps into the cage, Alexander Gustafsson and Glover Teixeira will lock horns for a chance to once again compete for the title.
Alex Gustafsson took some time off after his close loss to Daniel Cormier, but returned with a solid decision victory over Jan Blachowicz. With another win over Glover here it seems likely he’ll get his third crack at the 205 pound belt. VBet Sportsbook lists Gustafsson as the favorite here with odds of 1.28.
Some MMA betting experts were calling for Glover Teixeira’s retirement after his KO loss to Anthony Johnson, but he proved he’s still elite with a dominant victory of Jared Cannonier. Glover is as tough as they come, but is listed as the huge underdog with odds of 3.30 to make German gambling news with a win over Gustafsson.
