In only one week two Bundesliga head coaches lost their jobs including Uwe Neuhaus of Bielefeld and Christian Gross of Schalke. Thus, the bookies started offering the next Bundesliga manager to leave odds suggesting few other coaches are in danger. On top are Pal Dardai of Hertha Berlin and Markus Gisdol of FC Koln.

With the German domestic league nearing the later stages, all clubs are carefully calculating their conditions. It is particular for the contenders who are currently in danger of slipping down the line and risking their seats in Bundesliga for the next season.

As online sportsbooks in Germany show the survival mode has been clicked on by many clubs to avoid staying or dropping to the relegation zone. Mainly FC Koln, Hertha Berlin, and maybe Hoffenheim are studying their options with the management they have. The ones that go through a series of losses will certainly consider their head coaches to be on top of the next Bundesliga manager to leave odds.

Dardai is taking a very risky mission with Berlin

The 44-year-old Pal Dardai took charge of Hertha Berlin this January in replacement of Bruno Labbadia. He came back to the senior team with a contract lasting until 2022. Dardai’s mission is crystal clear as the club is near relegation. As long as Dardai rescues the team from dropping to Bundesliga 2, he will remain at the helm for another season.

Dardai coached Hertha Berlin between 2015 and 2019. He left the senior team to manage Berlin’s youth club, but he had to come back in fulfillment of a specific mission. Thus, Dardai enjoys the trust and support of the board and the players. But, that will not last long if the team does not recover, as it is now only one point safe of relegation. Should this situation stay bad, Dardai may have to leave with 5.00 odds at 32Red Sportsbook.

Hoeness  is facing a tough debut Bundesliga season

The head coach of Hoffenheim Sebastien Hoeness joined the club last summer. He came to Hoffenheim after leading Bayern Munich’s reserves to the Third Division title. It was a fairytale story of a team coming out of 15th at Christmas 2019 to become 3. Liga champions on the final day in 2020. Accordingly, Hoeness won 3. Liga Coach of the Season and went straight to Bundesliga.

Until Matchday 23, Hoffenheim is placed 11th in Bundesliga. That is relatively okay compared to their sixth place of last season. Some online sportsbook news sites in Germany argue that it puts Hoeness in danger. And he is among the favorites at the next Bundesliga manager to leave odds with a 3.00 value. However, this is his debut in Bundesliga, so most likely the club will be more patient with Hoeness as long as the team does not drop further on the table.

Gisdol’s Koln are on a knife-edge

Another head coach under huge pressure this season is Markus Gisdol of FC Koln. His team dropped in January to the relegation zone, but they managed to escape to safety. Now Koln is three points above relegation. Gisdol needs to deliver more positive results in the upcoming weeks, otherwise, he might be the next Bundesliga casualty head coach with 3.00 odds.
