2021 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship is held this weekend, 24-26 September
-
Five top ten players will compete in the next LPGA Tour event at Pinnacle Country Club
-
World No2 Jin Young Ko and world No6 Lydia Ko are the top favorites
Following her latest victory in Portland, Jin Young Ko can continue her winning streak in Arkansas at the next LPGA Tour event. American Austin Ernst is the defending champion but the LPGA Arkansas Championship betting predictions mention other top 10 players as the main favorites now. Like former world No1 Sei Young Kim and former event winner Lydia Ko.
The 2021 Walmart AW Arkansas Championship is the 15th edition of the tournament held at the Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas. A very strong field will compete in the 54-hole event this weekend. Including five top 10 players and former tournament winners. Like Stacy Lewis who has already won here twice, Japanese Nasa Hataoka won with the biggest margin with 6 strokes in 2018. Or last year’s winner, Austin Ernst who managed to beat Anna Nordqvist on the last day. Now the American world No26 will try to defend her title and get the $300,000 winner’s prize. But it won’t be an easy task in the strong field including some of the best players right now.
LPGA Arkansas Championship Betting Predictions Favor Jin Young Ko for Another Win
The world No2 Jin Young Ko is in top form after getting her 9th LPGA Tour to win in Portland last week. It was also her second victory this season after her win at the Volunteers of America Classic in Texas this July. Seems like Ko would like to take back her world No1 spot which she lost to Nelly Korda this summer. Well, if she continues in this style, it won’t take long for her to do so. She can first get another win here with online sportsbooks in the US offering the smallest odds, +800.00 for her victory.
A former tournament winner, Lydia Ko follows her with the odds of +1100.00 in the LPGA Arkansas Championship betting predictions. The New Zealand player is also a former world No1 who returned to the best players this year. She won the 2021 Lotte Championship in Hawaii and the bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Now Ko can produce another great result in the course where she won five years ago. Another former event winner, Nasa Hataoka is also mentioned in the favorites with the odds of +2200.00. The Japanese player was second in this year’s US Women’s Open and won the 2021 Marathon Classic in July. Making her another top contender this weekend.
Lee, Kim, and US Players Are Also the Favorites
Australian Minjee Lee is also in top form after winning her first major tournament, the 202 1 Evian Championship in France this summer. It was her sixth LPGA Tour victory and the first one since 2019. Lee also finished T5 in the Women’s British Open a month ago. Now the world No9 has the odds of +1400.00 on BetOnline to get another great result. While Sei Young Kim can return to her best at Arkansas. The world No4 started the season well with a T3 finish at the 2021 ANA Inspiration. And she also got a T3 finish in the Lotte Championship. But since then Kim couldn’t achieve such results with hardly making the top ten.
Online gambling sites in the US offer the odds of +2500.00 for the victory of Lexi Thompson. The US player is also looking for her first win of the season after finishing T2 both in Gainbridge and at the Kia Classic. The 26-year-old was third in this year’s US Women’s Open in spite of leading the tournament until the last day. Now she can prove her skills on home soil supported by the American fans. Just like the 2020 winner, Austin Ernst whose odds of +3300.00 are not too promising. But the world No26 can still cause a surprise and get her fourth LPGA Tour to win. After her last victory at the Drive on Championship this March.
