We have taken a peek into some great matches that will take place over the upcoming weekend, and now we will treat you to some more previews. According to Spanish gambling news, Villarreal will play against Levante at home on Saturday evening, while Espanyol will have a chance to defend its colors as they will host Almeria on Sunday.
• Villarreal looking to beat Levante
• Espanyol are the favorites against Almeria
• A great match expected between Valencia vs Sevilla
A great spectacle is expected to occur between Valencia and Sevilla as both sides go head to head in an attempt to make progress up the table and clinch a better spot. This game should provide plenty of football entertainment while also offering punters the opportunity to make some extra cash. And lastly, on Monday evening Getafe and Celta Vigo will also go up against one another.
Villarreal vs Levante and Espanyol vs Almeria
Villarreal currently sit in 6th place on the table with an overall of 35 points. They have performed splendidly over the last several months as they managed to steadily earn more and more points by getting the right results. They maintain a home record of 6 wins, 0 draws and 3 losses and that is why Bet365 has earmarked them to win 1.28 (2/7) against Levante.
The visiting side have not experienced the same fortune as they find themselves struggling in the relegation zone having managed only16 points from 19 games so far. While playing away they have notched 1 win, 4 draws and 5 losses and for this reason online sportsbooks in Spain don’t hold them in high regard. Bet365 has given them complete outsider odds of 11.00 (10/1), whereas a draw stands at 5.00 (4/1).
Espanyol showed promise earlier in the season when they managed to pull off some incredible wins and showcased sublime football abilities, however now they have slumped to 9th place in the league. While playing on their own ground they have sealed 5 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses, which isn’t that bad considering the squad at their disposal, however some would say that they should have done better while playing on home turf.
They will next face Almeria, a team that sits in the relegation zone (18th place) with only 16 points. They have a recorded 4 wins, 1 draw and a staggering 5 losses whenever they have played on the road, which is quite bad and is the reason why has assigned unfavorable odds 5.00 (4/1). A win for the hosts stands at 1.72 (8/11), an event that is very likely, while an unlikely draw has been set at 3.50 (5/2).
Valencia vs Sevilla and Getafe vs Celta Vigo
Valencia currently occupy 5th position in the league and they have amassed a total of 38 points from 19 games. Although their away record is not very convincing at home they have managed to achieve impressive results which resulted at 8 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. However, despite having great results at home they are still not deemed as a superclub.
Under Spanish gambling laws, Bet365 has assigned the hosts odds of 2.25 (5/4), while Sevilla have been dealt slightly worse chances 3.20 (11/5) mainly due to their away record (5 wins, 0 draws and 3 losses). Although the Andalusian side is not the preferential team for this encounter they are still above Valencia on the table, sitting in 4th with 39 points.
The last game of the round will take place on Monday evening and it will see Celta Vigo travel to the metropolitan area of Madrid where they will be looking to build on their standing against Getafe. The Madrid-based side have sealed 2 wins, 3 draws and 5 losses at home which is part of the reason why they are now in 15th place.
Celta Vigo on the other hand have enjoyed slightly better results in recent times which has seen them clinch 11th spot on the table. So far when they played away from home they have recorded 2 wins, 3 draws and 5 losses, stats that are not commendable and won’t work in their favor as they go up against a team that will be playing on home ground.
