Tis a man from Sweden Who wisely chose this username.
A character from the Lord of the Rings,
subject to online poker fame.
“Isildur, Isildur, Where art thou?” many players ask.
It was at Full Tilt Poker, friends, that Antonius kicked his ass.
Afterwards, to our surprise Isildur had disappeared,
Now he’s back with a vengeance, as many pros had feared.
Swedish gambling law does nothing to keep this man from the felt.
But losing $1.3 million, Well, that surely leaves a welt.
Isildur played elsewhere to fatten his bank roll.
At PokerStars, and Betfair He fed on victims like a troll.
Play online poker in Sweden, And you may have a chance,
To make stacks of chips and cash,
While doing the Isildur dance.
For those who are not familiar, Isildur1 is the username of a Swedish online poker star that maintains a mysterious status. He suddenly showed up at online gambling sites in Sweden and started playing poker with the pros in high stakes games at Full Tilt Poker.
After losing a massive $1.3 million to Patrik Antonius it seemed that Isildur1 had disappeared. He was, however, playing at other sites with the username “Omlphalotus.” It seems that he has returned at this point, as Isildur, but he has once again been losing to the pros.
Isildur is the name of a character in J.R.R. Tolkein’s The Lord of the Rings novels. He is referred to as the second king of Gondor and is featured in the following novels: The Fellowship of the Ring, the Silmarillion, and Unfinished Tales.
