Invincible Leclerc Favored for a Third Win at Virtual Dutch GP Betting Odds

The fourth edition of the virtual Formula 1 race, the Virtual Dutch GP is taking place on May 03. The competition has relatively increased with more professional F1 drivers joining the series. However, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc remains invincible thus favored for a third win by Virtual Dutch GP betting odds.

Since the Virtual Grand Prix series was launched in March it has proved to be immensely successful. According to Formula1.com, the first three Virtual races accumulated over 16m views. The fourth edition is coming up on May 03. It was named the Virtual Dutch GP, but since Zandvoort is not available on the current F1 2019 game, the race will take place at the Interlagos circuit in Brazil. The Virtual Dutch GP will include an 18-minute qualifying session, followed by a 28-lap race. You can watch the race live on F1’s Youtube, Facebook, and Twitch channels.

The younger generation of F1 leads the virtual competition including Charles Leclerc, Alex Albon, Nicholas Latifi, and the F2 Guanyu Zhou. However, most online sportsbooks in the Netherlands suggest Leclerc is invincible, thus he leads the Virtual Dutch GP betting odds. Probably the Red Bull’s star Verstappen is the best driver to make a serious threat to Leclerc, but he still refuses to take part. Anyhow, you can still bet on Max Verstappen to win the F1 title in 2020 when the professional F1 returns. So, here are the top contenders for the upcoming virtual race.

Charles Leclerc likely to make a hat-trick

Since making his Virtual Grand Prix debut almost a month ago, Charles Leclerc has a perfect record of two wins from two races. He first won the Vietnam GP then he overcame a much tougher opposition during the Chinese GP. The 22-year-old was able to put Alex Albon at an arm’s length in the closing stages of the last race, to declare himself invincible.

The competition is no longer easy as in the beginning, with the drivers becoming more experienced. But, it will be no surprise for Leclerc to make a hat-trick of victories with a value of 1.70 odds at Bwin Sports.

Alex Albon looks to win his first virtual race

Among the top contenders ahead to take aim at the Ferrari driver will be Red Bull’s Alex Albon. According to online sportsbook news in the Netherlands, Albon took a competitive second-place last time out in China. It was his first podium in the Virtual Grand Prix series. He closely followed Leclerc, he even passed Leclerc during the first round. He did everything he could to keep Leclerc behind, but on lap 11 Albon lost the title race.

For the Virtual Dutch GP Albon will partner for the second time with cricketer Ben Stokes. The Virtual Dutch GP betting odds suggest Albon values 4.50 to win his first virtual race. However, it is hard to see Stokes making a mark and helping Albon to win the title. So, Albon will be all alone to take over Leclerc.

Latifi and Zhou might be able to make an upset

Among the top underdogs to make an upset at the Virtual Dutch GP are Williams rookie Nicholas Latifi with 11.00 odds and Renault driver Guanyu Zhou (09.00). Nicholas Latifi has been able to finish ninth at the Chinese Virtual GP and he will aim for a better result. Whereas Formula 2 driver Guanyu Zhou won the opening Bahrain GP, and he looks to return to the podium.
