Chadwick Boseman who died in August at the age of 43 after a secret battle with colon cancer has been nominated the Best Actor. Kingsley Ben-Adir received a nod for his role in “One Night in Miami” directed by Regina King. Many consider the film as a formidable debut for King who won Oscars and Emmy for her acting. Kingsley plays the role of Malcom X. He was highly praised with +110 odds to likely the Breakthrough Actor Award.

“I’m Thinking of Ending Things”

The brilliant existential Netflix drama is directed by Charlie Kaufman. Many perceive the film as a radical departure from Kaufman’s previous work. It is based on Iain Reid’s novel which delves into deeper thoughts of memory, misery, and mortality.
