Gambler Pays Fine to Police from Slot Machine Winnings

German gambler was lucky enough to win on a slot machine as it came just in time for him to pay a fine to the police and avoid a jail sentence.
According to gambling news, two police officers were performing “routine checks” around the German city of Bochum when they stumbled upon a man who they knew was overdue with a previous fine. The man in question was spotted in an arcade playing slot machines, however he didn’t initially realize that two officers have noticed him.
On a previous occasion the gambler was resisting police in an incident and the German authorities had an arrest warrant issued out for him. The court decided that penalty for the incident should be EUR 710 ($910), however the man never paid the outstanding fine. The punishment for neglecting the monetary fine was 71 days in jail.
The gambler was awarded EUR 1,000 from the slot machine
The suspect said that he didn’t have that amount of money available at his disposal, which propelled the police officers to take out their handcuffs and proceeded to take action. They would have led him straight to prison where we would have stayed for nearly two and half month, where it not for a very fortunate win from the slot machine he was playing.
The slot machine awarded the suspect a cool EUR 1,000, from which he could have easily paid the EUR 710 fine and still have some winnings left over. Mobile betting sites reports that The authorities agreed that he could finally pay the penalty from his slot winnings, which saved him a trip to a prison cell.
