French Lottery Operator Releases Mobile Loto App

Francaise des Jeux brings out new lottery app for Android and Apple platforms.
Lotsys Gaming Lab, a subsidiary of France’s Lottery operator Francaise des Jeux (FDJ), launched a new French mobile gambling app developed for the FDJ’s Loto game. The application launch follows the successful July release of the Euro Millions App.
The new app, fully licensed by French gambling laws, allows players to place a lottery bet in just three clicks. It also lets layers change the numbers on their betting grids without any clicking, just simply shaking their mobile devices
The app displays six different ways to play the Loto game. Players may create their girds offline and place the bets when they go online. Favorite grids can be saved and used for result comparison with the past draws.
Other functions of the French mobile lottery app include access to the last 10 Loto results, alerts and sign-ups for the coming jackpots. The app is also able to identify the nearest lottery point-of-sale.
Renaud Dol, FDJ’s Head of Digital Content claims: “We have put the user experience at the center of the app’s development.”
Dol added: “This partnership with Lotsys has made FDJ the first lottery with an iPad offer and the lottery with the best mobile game experience, thanks to all our native apps for iPhone, Android, iPad and Webapp.”
FDJ reports that as much as 15 percent of its digital revenue is coming from mobile and tablet channels. FDJ apps are usually among the most popular downloads in the m-commerce category in the French Apple AppStore.
