Gibraltar based bwin.party sets its sights on Central Europe, as it teams up with Central European betting operator, Fortuna Entertainment Group, to integrate its bwin Feed sports content into Fortuna’s sports betting client.
The new deal will mean that bwin will provide live sports betting data, fixtures, results and events calendars, as well as offering clients exclusive online sportsbooks in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
While Fortuna chose to team up with bwin for their “experience in the sports betting arena coupled with their reputation as pioneers in the life-betting industry,” according to Fortuna’s CEO RadimHaluza, the timing is also a good one for bwin.

Changes in UK gambling laws mean that a new Point of Consumption Tax will be introduced, taxing offshore operators that have a British client base. So it’s easy to see why bwin.partyis attracted to the Central European gambling market.
The feed will be integrated into Fortuna’s betting point-of-sales interface, allowing for its customers to enjoy an extensive sportsbook coupled with supporting content.
“Our service will contribute to the growth of Fortuna’s business and we look forward to replicating this success with other B2B partner,” said Marco Falchetto, the director of sports betting at bwin.party.
The Fortuna Entertainment Group is enthusiastic about the partnership and Haluza commented that they were “the obvious choice for us when selecting a partner to expand our sports book product.”
