The sport of football is a wonderful game. It has the power to unite people and provide plenty of entertainment, however for the actual participants of the sport it is not generous. It takes years of excruciating work for players to break onto the big scene and if they even manage to reach a high level, it is not guaranteed that they will last very long. After arriving to Manchester United as an aspiring youth, he quickly progressed to the first team. Under the guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson, Giggs flourished into a world-class player. His journey began in 1990 and ended last year in 2014, effectively spending 24 years with the Red Devils. In the process he won 13 Premier League crowns and 2 Champions League titles, among many other trophies. The next season he put on much more appearances that signaled a bright future for him. Season after season he performed brilliantly, which can be attributed to his immense dedication and natural skills. Just like Giggs, he won numerous accolades, however he missed a few seasons in the process due to injuries, which is why his Premier League titles amount to “only ” 8.
