Zynga strengthens its real-money gambling ambitions with the launch of Elite Slots combining social elements with luck-based play.
Zynga may not be enjoying the best of times, but the company operating in full compliance with American gambling laws, isn’t giving up without a fight.
Their latest product – Elite Slots – is combining social and story elements with luck-based play. The newest free multiplayer slot is rich in features, focuses on great visual and sound effects. The game also includes role-playing and lots of mini-games.
The newest product paves way for Zynga to enter real-money gambling sector. For the time being this is not possible at online casinos in United States, so the San Francisco company is contemplating other jurisdictions to start their real-money gambling offerings.
Zynga told American gambling news that the Elite Slots was a result of considerable research and lots of professional creative input. The new product is free for now, but allows players to spend money purchasing upgrades, animated pets and in-game coins for extra pulls on the slot.
Players of Elite Slots are shown on-screen as animated pets, each with a back story which progresses from level to level discovering hidden treasures based on the virtual spins of the slot machine.
The levels of the game include a vampire house of fangs, and an enchanted forest. There are “boss battles” along the way, the outcomes of which are also determined by virtual spins. Following large slot machine wins, the animated pets appear on other player’s screens awarding prizes.
The Elite Slots product becomes Zynga’s fith casino-themed game, next to bingo and the extremely successful poker.
As for the real-money gambling, Zynga has already partnered up with Bwin.party to operate roulette, poker, blackjack and other virtual casino games for real money in British jurisdiction.
