How does DraftDuel sound to you? FanKings? Latest rumor is that the founding fathers of Daily Fantasy Sports, DraftKings and FanDuel will merge and become a mammoth company in the world of virtual sports drafting.
Via Bloomberg, daily fantasy sports fans found out about how the companies, once estimated to worth 1 billion dollars each, can unite and stand… taller and stronger against gambling regulatory authorities in the US and worldwide.
The two competitor companies have shown different approaches so far (DraftKings does not accept paid entries while FanDuel has paid games in 10 states) but a possible merger in daily fantasy sports might change the game for good.
Subsequently to the great success of online daily fantasy sports in US, the fantasy sports market started to develop, new brands emerging almost every month all over the world. So far, DraftKings and FanDuel are the biggest names in the daily fantasy sports business, but unfortunately they cannot be accessed by all those wanting to draft online.
