Not long after Tony Bellew shocked the world and made UK gambling news with a historic upset over David Haye, one of the top British boxers competing began calling him out. According to Dillian Whyte, Bellew is a “fake heavyweight.”

Bellew famously moved up from cruiserweight to take on Haye, and despite coming into the fight as a massive underdog according to sites like Bet365, he managed to stop Haye in the 11th round. Tony is now recovering from a hand injury sustained in the bout, and has dismissed the challenge from Whyte.

“All I will say is, why I am going to go from fighting the former undisputed cruiserweight champion of the world, the former heavyweight champion of the world, to fighting someone who got knocked out for a British title?” Bellew told Sky Sports.
