The Danish gambling regulator orders ISP blocks on five online casinos for not complying with the rules.
The accusations include illegal access to Danish players and not following Danish gambling laws
regarding these matters. The websites were blocked from local internet providers, following the regulator’s direction.
The Authority published a statement saying that it is closely monitoring the Danish internet gambling market, looking for providers that don’t have the necessary licensing to offer gambling services in the country. This was the case with the mentioned websites, which were contacted regarding their illegal activities, but some of them didn’t take the necessary measures.

Additionally: “A large number of these websites have corrected their gambling offers so that they no longer contravene the Danish gambling legislation. However, some websites continue to offer gambling activities without a license.”
Moreover: “On Friday 28 March 2014 the city court of Frederiksberg decided to impose an injunction on the internet service provider ‘3’, requesting them to enable a block on 5 illegal website. ‘3’ has 14 days to comply with the injunction and enable the blocking measure.”
The regulator gave the names of the violating websites, which made it into the gambling news: quasargaming.com, wintrillions.com, 7red.com, 7red.dk and trillonario.com.
