Canadian Player Wins Progressive Jackpot

An IT professional from Canada tried his luck at Slotland’s latest progressive jackpot and won almost $170,000 playing it.

The Tikal Treasure slot game brought the Canadian player a prize of $169,072. According to a company press release, the progressive jackpot is triggered four or five times a year at the casino, with an average payout of $175,000.

“What good is a jackpot that never seems to be hit?!” asked Michael Hilary, manager of the online casino in Europe. “Maybe Slotland’s jackpot never gets to be millions of dollars, but that’s because it’s hit so often! We’ve had a lot of jackpot winners who, believe me, were all quite happy to walk away with a couple hundred thousand!”

All of the casino’s online slot games are tied to one progressive jackpot, but this is the first time it was hit playing Tikal Treasure.
