Irish bookmaker Boyle Sports and Buzz Sports launch live betting service ZonePlay.
Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker Boyle Sports partners up with Buzz Sports to launch ZonePlay, Irish gambling news websites report.
Boyle Sports customers will enjoy the opportunity to bet on sports in Ireland during televised events. ZonePlay features live betting, allowing players to bet on what happens next, while watching TV at home.
Promising UK-based gaming start up Buzz Sports gained yet another high-profile platform for the integration of its service. The English company customized the branding and content of ZonePlay’s game screen to ensure smooth integration into the live betting page of the Boyle Sports. The task was difficult, as the Irish website also had featured range of in-play betting options.
ZonePlay is also available in 26 languages and can support several currencies. Boyle Sports plans to expand its business beyond their home country, as existing Irish gambling laws limit the growth opportunities.
Besides football, ZonePlay is currently available for tennis, cricket and Australian Football League. Major league basketball is scheduled to launch by the end of this year. The number of possible in-play bets taken on Boyle Sports Online is expected to grow.
Buzz Sports’ chief commercial officer, Ian Williams, commented: “We are delighted to be live trading with our first UK online partner. Boyle Sports has been a pleasure to work with and has put Zoneplay at the forefront of its in-play strategy, integrating a custom built smaller game window to fit into its live betting console. We are delighted with a very encouraging start and will have a stunning new custom-built tablet and mobile version live in the next few weeks.”
Keith O’Loughlin, chief executive of Boyle Sports Online, added: “Zoneplay is the natural progression of in-running sports betting.”Boyle Games.com has been operating since 2008. The company is and is the games division of Boyle Sports, the largest independent bookmaker in Ireland.”
