Spanish football is full of young players with incredible abilities, but which players should we pay the most attention to? Who are the biggest football talents at Valencia and what could their future be like? Let’s find out!
In the first and the second episodes, we have already commented on the talented football youngsters at 8 clubs (Deportivo Alavés, Leganés, Osasuna, Las Palmas, Sporting Gijón, Eibar, Granada and Deportivo La Coruna). Now we will examine 4 more clubs and highlight their most promising talents. Who knows, maybe you’ll find the one now of whom all online betting news in Spain will keep talking about in the future because of his incredible skills.
Check out Espanyol’s biggest football talents
Espanyol seemingly does not really rely on the talent and energy of the youth as the squad consists of mostly experienced, not too young players with lots of experience behind. Of course, they have some home-growns players who might join the first team every now and then, such as Luis López, Marc Roca and Aarón Martin.
However, the only really young player in Espanyol’s squad is a certain Ruben Duarte. The 20-year-old Spaniard mostly plays as a left-back, but he feels comfortable as a central defender as well. Duarte has been at Espanyol youth and reserve teams since 2009 before joining the first team in 2015. He is also member of the Spanish international youth team (U21 currently, but played in almost every one of them from U15 upwards). He will be an important player for the Catalans.
Real Betis builds on young talents
Real Betis is the team that can go completely unpredictable, some might even end up referring to them as those gambling assholes on whom you should never ever place a bet on at online sportsbooks because you can never know what to expect from them. Their eccentric form might be a result of their squad consisting of many young players.
These young talents at Real Betis include the likes of the 19-year-old Belgian attacking midfielder, Charly Musonda, who is on loan from Chelsea. He arrived at Betis last January and has extended his loan contract until the end of this season. It’s not a secret that he wants to prove his worth to those in charge at Chelsea.
Similar ambitions lead 19-year-old right winger, Matias Nahuel Leiva, who is at Betis on loan from Villarreal. On the other hand, 20-year-old Paraguayan striker Antonio Sanabria and also 20-year-old Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos are fighting to get a name as the Sevilla-based club and become important members in the first team.
Valencia’s José Luis Gayá, one of the best young talents in La Liga
Valencia have always been among the top clubs in Spain and they can be proud of their rather fascinating history. However, their last season didn’t work out as well as Valencia fans have expected: the Eastern-Spanish side finished only in the 12th position in La Liga collecting only 44 points in 38 games. It was their worst result in quite a while.
However, it doesn’t mean that their players lack quality or talent. In fact, they have some pretty shiny diamonds who might become world class footballers in the future. One of the most likely candidates for that is the 21-year-old left back, José Luis Gayá. Gayá has already been crucial member of the squad for years and his star is expected to shine even brighter as he will gain more and more experience.
Online sportsbooks in Spain also expect 22-year-old Portuguese defenders Joao Cancelo and Ruben Vezo to play well at Valencia. 20-year-old Belgian striker Zakaria Bakkali is another one of Valencia’s talented players and he might become one of the most famous footballers of the future.

Can Oyarzabal become Real Sociedad’s next Xabi Alonso?
Real Sociedad has given many great Basque footballers to this world, including Bayern Münich’s Xabi Alonso for example. Their strict rules of developing mostly home-grown Basque players has made them likable to many football fans all around the world and not just because they seem nice by respecting the traditions: they also know how to help a top class talent reach his potential.
At this point, we can never be sure if the new Sociedad talents will be as great of players as Xabi Alonso used to be at his peak, but we can always give some tips who want to know who the best young footballers are. 23-year-old striker Juanmi is definitely a good guess to name Sociedad’s leading star, but 21-year-old Ander Badarji and 19-year-old midfielder Mikel Oyarzabal also have good chances of becoming great La Liga stars.
