The Brecon and Radnorshire by-election was triggered after 10,005 people signed a petition to unseat Conservative MP Chris Davies. Labour came third in the 2017 election

The Labour Party chose Tom Davies to run in the by-election. Tom is currently a town councilor in Brecon and works as a Litigation Officer for a company based in Cwmbran. Labour has previously received only 7,335 votes and came third in 2017, and it is unclear whether the Party became more popular since then.
