The time has come again for those special games, where the best of the best face each other in the knockout phase of Europe elite tournament – the Champions League. The second leg of the last 16 is upon us, and it has some pretty thrilling games on the agenda, so don’t miss your chance to bet with online sportsbooks in EU for today’s and tomorrow’s encounters.

Liverpool v Proto – H 1.55 (6/11) D 4.20 (16/5) A 7.00 (6/1)

Liverpool smashed 5 goals against the Portuguese side when they faced them a fortnight ago, so we’re predicting Jurgen Klopp might field a slightly weaker side to keep some of his key players fresh. Nonetheless, we think that the atmosphere at Anfield could be too much to Porto to cope with, so a victory for the Reds doesn’t seems out of the questions, despite their great lead.

PSG v Real Madrid – H 1.95 (10/11) D 4.20 (16/5) A 3.60 (13/5)

This is the real cracker of the round, but the game could go either way considering the factors: the game will be played in front of the Paris support at Parc des Princes, however they’ll be without their main man Neymar (who’s out with a foot injury) and Real Madrid are leading with a 3-1 result from the first match. All of these factors concoct a potent cocktail that can see a number of events.

Bet on the Champions League

Man City will likely not relax against Basel despite 4-0 lead, knowing the way Guardiola is (source: UEFA)

Domestically, Los Blancos have been disastrous so that might say something about their form, but then again one cannot ignore the 3-1 result – something that’s hard to overcome for any side. We’re willing to bet that PSG could win this match, but not actually progress to the latter stages of the Champions League – the competition that they’re desperate to conquer.

Man City v Basel – H 1.14 (1/7) D 9.50 (17/2) A 21.00 (20/1)

Pep Guardiola’s side have practically secured their qualification into the next round in the first leg, after defeating Basel with an impressive 4-0 victory. The Spaniard is known for not relenting no matter how big a lead he enjoys, so this upcoming match should also end with another big win for Man City. So instead of betting on the result, you might want to consider making a wager on some of the other markets for this match, with providers of internet betting in EU.

Tottenham v Juventus – H 2.20 (6/5) D 3.50 (5/2) A 3.50 (5/2)

Two weeks ago, when these two sides faced each other the game ended with a 2-2 draw, despite many in the football world predicting a relatively easy win for the Turin side. But it didn’t quite turn out that way, as the Tottenham managed to put up a fight against Juventus – a side that has reached the final of the Champions League twice in the previous three seasons.

This time around, they’ll be playing in front of a packed Wembley Stadium with 90,000 spectators (the vast majority being Spurs fans), so it should be a thrilling encounter to watch. Judging that depth that Juventus have in their squad and taking into account that Spurs will be playing in front of their own support (despite it not being actually their “real” ground), we reckon this will end in another draw with goals.
