Rational made Amaya biggest in the world
In August 2014 Canadian online gambling company Amaya Inc. (formerly known as Amaya Gaming) bought Rational Group including online gambling sites PokerStars and Full Tilt from Isai and Mark Scheinberg for a reported $4.9 billion. The deal made Amaya the biggest publicly listed online gambling company in the world.
Full Tilt, provided a licence regarding EU gambling laws by Malta in 2012, was rebranded to Full Tilt then, which reflected a change in its operation. Full Tilt continued rather as an internet casino than a site limited to online poker, offering a wide collection of single and multi-player casino titles to their users.
