Adam Bishop has been holding the title for 18 months and will try to defend it. The 2021 Britain’s Strongest Man odds mention him in the favorites but the winner of the 2021 World’s Strongest Man can be a tough opponent.
The first edition of the Britain’s Strongest Man competition was held in 1979 when all participants got an invitation. Including weightlifters, field athletes and wrestlers. Eventually a shot putter, Geoff Capes won the first Britain’s Strongest Man title. The format remained until 1984 when different versions emerged. But in 1989 the competition got its original name back and has been held almost every year since. The Beast, Eddie Hall, won the event the most times, on five occasions. While Adam Bishop is the defending champion after winning last year’s race. The winners of the regional heats will compete next weekend in Sheffield to win the title in 2021. Including the winner of this year’s World’s Strongest Man contest, Tom Stoltman.
2021 Britain’s Strongest Man Odds Favor Stoltman To Win This Year
Adam Bishop has belonged to the top competitors for a few years now. And last year he finally managed to win the title. The former rugby player is also the full-time Strength and Conditioning Coach for Harlequin FC. Tom is the younger brother of another great competitor, Luke Stoltman, who won the Europe’s Strongest Man title in 2021. In Britain he finished third last year behind Bishop and his brother. Now his odds to beat them are 4.50.

Hicks got the British record in the Log Lift with lifting 220kg last year. He finished third in this year’s European contest, which is a promising sign ahead of the British event. Another experienced strongman is Mark Felix who finished as a runner-up in the event four times between 2006 and 2016. The Grenadian born is still going strong in spite of being 55.
