Within the Trinidad and Tobago gambling legislation, the Gambling and Betting Act from 1963 and the Gambling (Gaming and Betting) Control Bill from 2016 are considered to be the main regulatory act of all gambling activities in the country. Other important pieces of legislation regulating gambling in Trinidad and Tobago include the National Lotteries Act, the Registration of Clubs Act, the Betting Levy Board as well as the Gambling (Gaming and Betting) Act from 2014. According to these acts all forms of land-based gambling are legal in Trinidad and Tobago. However, no form of online gambling has been regulated as of July 2018 and no licenses for online gambling providers have been issued by the relevant authorities in the country.  The regulatory body of the land-based gambling activities in Trinidad and Tobago is the Gambling (Gaming and Betting) Control Commission. The legal functioning of the online gambling sector is planned to be supervised by the same body, once it is developed.
