Wolverhampton v Coventry City

Wolves objectively got the easiest of the draws. They comfortably sit in the middle of the Premier League table, having beaten stronger teams all season – City, Chelsea, Tottenham twice, Manchester United, you name it.

Now, to reach the semi-finals, they need to beat mid-table Championship side Coventry. It should be easy for Wolves, by all accounts. It is the semi-finals that Wolves will need to worry about, as they are to play either Manchester United or Liverpool, although at home ground. According to Bet365 and their predictions for FA Cup quarter-finals, this is an excellent chance for Wolves to claim a trophy.

Verdict: A 3-0 win for Wolverhampton

Manchester United v Liverpool

A perfect draw for a neutral fan and punter at online gambling sites in the UK. It has been a while since we have seen a Northwest Derby in a cup competition. For United, it is a decent draw if they can get their best players, such as Rasmus Hojlund and Garnacho, back for the game. United’s form at Old Trafford could have been better, though – they have lost a lot of home games, with the most recent one to Fulham just last Saturday.

For Liverpool, it is crucial to ensure Salah, Nuñez, Trent, and others come back for this game. However, if Liverpool regards the Premier League campaign higher, the club might sacrifice the FA Cup in favour of the former and play their B-squad. The latter showed their prowess by beating Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final and Southampton in the FA Cup last Wednesday.

Verdict: A 2-1 win for Manchester United

Manchester City v Newcastle United

Newcastle had to play Manchester City so many times this year it is ridiculous. They lost both games in the Premier League but beat them in the Carabao Cup. Who knows if Newcastle can do that again, but Bet365 doesn’t give the club good odds. If Eddie Howe wants to keep his manager seat, he must claim a trophy for Newcastle, who have not won anything since the 1950s.

For Pep Guardiola and Co, it is just a game. Man City is currently in pursuit of another treble, and they need the FA Cup to repeat last season’s success. Unless City is stricken by an injury crisis or loses both De Bruyne and Haaland, they should be fine going into that game.

Verdict: A 3-1 win for Manchester City

Chelsea v Leicester City

Chelsea barely managed to scrape a win against Championship side Leeds United. Now, they are to face another Championship team, Leicester, who are leading the competition by a long shot. The London team plays unconvincingly and without character. Their loss in the Carabao Cup surely demoralized the team to some extent, and now their only chance to get into European competition is through the FA Cup, where their predictions for FA Cup quarter-final success are the best.

Leicester’s will to win the game will hugely depend on how they perform in the Championship, where they have nice odds at online sportsbooks in the UK. If they maintain the same huge lead they have at the moment, they will put out their best squad. If their Championship positions are in jeopardy, they will abandon it.

Verdict: A 2-1 win for Chelsea
