Pelicans v Suns Game 6 Betting Preview
This is the final chance for New Orleans to make it out of the first round. Game 6 is their last chance for the home-court advantage in this series. What’s impressive is that the Pelicans are giving the Suns a run for their money. 8th seed upsets aren’t completely new to the league, but they only happened four times in history. On the downside, no 8th seed has won the Finals, ever. There’s no status update on Booker’s hamstring injury which means he’s still out for at least one more week. This gives plenty of chances for the Pelicans to do something historical. In the Game 6 betting previews of the Pelicans v Suns, New Orleans is still the underdog. Additionally, their chances of closing out the series in Phoenix in a Game 7 are even lower. Let’s take a look at some things.

First of all, Zion isn’t returning for this postseason so there’s no hope there. Second, the Pelicans couldn’t take the lead once in Game 5. They tied the score four times but the Suns still won by 15. New Orleans might have the edge when it comes to rebounds but they can’t move the ball around as efficiently as Phoenix. Of course, when you have Chris Paul on your team, assists will keep coming in. Mikal Bridges exploded in Game 5 but his previous performances in New Orleans’ home games weren’t as good. Brandon Ingram will be the man to watch out for on Thursday night. He gave plenty of trouble Phoenix during this series. McCollum tends to miss more shots than he wants to but he can still put up concerning numbers. Win or lose, Phoenix will close out the series. This is our Game 6 betting preview for Pelicans v Suns.
