Alcaraz has already played against both Nadal and Djokovic and defeated both of the living legends. Ending 2022 as the first in the men’s ATP Rankings, Alcaraz could cause a massive upset to both of the players. He had to withdraw from the Australian Open due to a hamstring injury, but if he is a peak physical form at the Roland Garros tournament, he could win his second Grand Slam at only 20 years of age.

Stefanos Tsitsipas

Stefanos Tsitsipas has not yet won a Grand Slam but could change that feat in France. He reached the French Open in 2021 but was defeated by Djokovic. Earlier this year, the Greek tennis player reached the Australian Open, only to be defeated by Djokovic again. It will be interesting to see if he has the mental strength to overcome this negative streak and win a Grand Slam final, if he reaches that stage of the tournament.

Casper Ruud

Casper Ruud is another player that could win his first ever Grand Slam at the French Open. He was last year’s runner-up, losing the final in straight sets to Nadal. He had also reached the US Open final, only to be defeated by Alcaraz.
