Gambling in Liechtenstein has been legalized after a century-long ban back in 2010. Within the current Liechtenstein gambling laws, the Gambling Act (GSG) of 30 June 2010, published in the Liechtenstein Law Gazette, 2010 No. 235, (LR 935.51), is considered to be the main regulatory act of all gambling activities in the country.  Under the current Liechtenstein gambling legislation, all forms of online gambling are supposedly allowed, though the licensing system is currently on hold, which is why there are still no operators in the country. However, there have been online lotto games in the past, but the national lotto operator went bankrupt in 2011. Since then that there is no other lotto provider in Liechtenstein.
