Wynn Resorts is ahead in the game for acquiring casino license in Massachusetts.

Wynn Resorts was deemed suitable by the authorities and is safely getting closer
to obtaining one of the precious casino licenses in Massachusetts

The background process check performed by Massachusetts Gaming Commission’s investigative bureau was long and thorough, but luckily for Wynn, it received a suitability recommendation. So, along with MGM Resorts International it is soon to be one of the first two operators with actual chance for license, according to US gambling laws.

Wynn’s suitability will still have to be decided by the commission in the following weeks, but the endorsement from the investigating bureau is a good enough sign for Wynn.

Following on from the gambling news that Caesars Entertainment was denied suitability and filed lawsuit against Stephen Crosby, the Commission chairman, Wynn and MGM’s suitability progress is inspiring for US casino lovers.

Despite Caesars attempts to blame Wynn Resorts for shady license arrangements, Wynn’s suitability investigation went according to the operator’s hopes. Chairman Crosby even confirmed the good outcome by further saying that: “the company runs as buttoned-up an operation in Macau, as pretty much can possibly be done”.

With online and mobile casinos progressively coming to the US – Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware have so far launched online gambling services, with mobile expected to come next year – this is a very important time for land-based casinos in many states.
