Joe Biden’s Chances In 2024 Fall Behind Trumps
Americans are always busy at this time of year, what with their Hallogivingmas holiday. However, this year, as they shop till they drop, they also have the US midterm election odds to pour over. Unfortunately, online betting sites in the US like Bovada do not offer the Democrats much hope. They seem to think the Republicans will take control back in both house and senate. Which means Joe Biden has very little to be thankful for, as his big goals get the partisan elbow.
The Americans are slowly amalgamating holidays. Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas have begun to roll into each other. You’ll notice this most when shopping as the marketing men shuffle store decorations to fit. Halloween is only just here, but you can already see Xmas displays next to those depicting turkeys and pilgrims too. So many Americans are facing an expensive couple of months. Which might explain why the US midterm odds lean so far toward the Republicans.
Of course, the US midterm election odds aren’t that surprising. America has imposed a form of political apartheid on itself. The chasm twixt the two sides now unbridgeable. Win power in the US and instantly 50% of the country hates you, regardless of to which party you belong. So after two years in power you can pretty much bet on the Midterm elections going against you. Hence anyone in the US gambling laws of common sense would see this tit for tat cycle end, are nuts.
US Midterm Election Odds Favor The Republicans Heavily
You can, by and large, bet on the Democrats to come up with some good ideas. Generally speaking. However, since Democrats came up with them, regardless of how good they are, Republicans will oppose them. Likewise, you can bet on the Republicans to fail to find any support for their ideas amongst the ranks of Democrats. The two sides just loathe each other. Hence, the US midterm election odds show the pendulum of control swing back the other way.
US Midterm Election Odds
- R House / R Senate – 5/7
- R House / D Senate – 13/5
- D House / D Senate – 19/5
- D House / R Senate – 33/1
Naturally, you can bet on Joe Biden and the Democrats to try their best, but it won’t be enough. It will all come down to turnout, and that won’t be high enough. Democrat voters disappointed the US didn’t turn into a paradise when Trump left will stay home. The angry Republican voters stoked by misinformation, fear and ignorance will turn out in droves. So, those US midterm election odds are quite realistic for a bet on politics in the US really. The Democrats will lose.

Obviously, without control of the Senate, and possibly without control of the House too, Biden will be unable to progress his program. So, if the US midterm election odds are realistic the nation faces another two years of malaise and political inaction. Perhaps that’s why the odds on the 2024 US Presidential Election no longer favor the Democratic candidates. The current favorite to take the White House? Donald Trump. Online bookies in the US are giving him just 3/1 now.
Bet On The 2024 US Election
- Anyone Else – 50/1+
- Dwayne Johnson – 33/1
- Pete Buttigieg – 33/1
- Nikki Haley – 18/1
- Mike Pence – 16/1
- Ron DeSantis – 11/1
- Kamala Harris – 6/1
- Joe Biden – 4/1
- Donald Trump – 3/1
Meanwhile the odds on Joe Biden, and indeed the odds on Kamala Harris, have both faded. Joe has slipped to 4/1 with Harris now loitering at 6/1. That’s alarming. Donald Trump is divisive and the nation needs healing. So as you look over the odds on the Democrats or the odds on the Republicans at Bovada, or other online sportsbook sites in the US, be careful. The US midterm election odds underline that this holiday season Americans have very little to be thankful for.
