SBTech was granted a remote operating licence by the UK Gambling Commission which will see the company enter the regulated UK market.
UK Gambling Commission has decided to accept SBTech’s application for a remote operating license, as they aim to become a prominent gaming provider in the country. Due to the new agreement the sports betting solutions provider will now be able to supply betting software to operators based in the regulated market, according to UK gambling laws.
In order to provide services the online gambling provider was in need of a license, following the changes made to the gaming bill by the UK gambling regulatory body. According to this new rule, online gambling operators licensed in the United Kingdom can only receive their gambling software from a company licensed in the UK.
