Ugandan Gets Beaten up After Notifying Dubai Police For Street Gambling

Ugandan that informed the police about a group of people who were gambling and fighting on a Dubai street, was beaten up and robbed by them.
The attacked man called the police again to report the incident with the gamblers, performing absolutely illegal activities, according to UAE gambling laws, strictly condemning all sorts of betting.
The victim was in Al Muhaisnah 2 area in the evening of January 1st when he noticed the large group of people who were gambling in front of Al Madina supermarket.
The story
His comment reported in the gambling news was: “I stopped and watched them and noticed that those managing the game were cheating their customers and beating any gambler who objected. I called the police while they were beating two men who had accused them of cheating. Police arrived and arrested three people while the rest fled.”
Additionally: “When the police left with the three men, about 50 people who had run away returned and assaulted me.”
Moreover: “They beat me with their hands, threw stones at me, tore off my clothes and robbed my mobile phone worth about AED 1,000, sunglasses costing AED 850 and AED 1,820 in cash. So I called the police again.”
