Columbus Blue Jackets winger Nick Foligno and Minnesota Wild forward Mikael Granlund did something that never happened in the last 18 years of the NHL. They scored two goals in two seconds, stunning many of those who bet on sports in the US.

The only time two goals in two seconds were scored in an NHL match before was in December 1987. Back then Boston Bruins center Ken Linseman scored in a 7–5 thriller.
