Germany will entertain England in a UEFA Euro 2016 preparation friendly in Berlin on Saturday night. The Betting Experts’ Tips (BET) covers all the best online betting offers, odds and tips in football and sports in their weekly online betting preview. This is one of the most interesting rivalries in international football, so let’s see the BET’s tips and the best Germany v England odds!
Though England have won their last two away games against Germany, the hosts are the reigning World Champions and the favourites of the Euro 2016 tournament. Though their recent form is far from their best, the quality of their squad and their default mentality makes them favourites of this fixture at online sportsbooks in the EU. Check out the Betting Experts Tips (BET) with the best Germany v England odds in our online betting preview!

David – As, Gary Lineker said, “Football is a simple game. Twenty-two men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win.” The England legend did his fair share of losing to Germany, so his opinion is good enough for me. He also played for Leicester City, who lead the English Premier league and whose stars will likely feature tonight. Danny Drinkwater and Jamie Vardy are having terrific seasons, but they may be a little distracted by their dream of winning the title.
In Germany, however, Bundesliga leading Bayern Munich are favourites to deliver the tile once again, so the stars of Die Roten can completely focus on this friendly. Thomas Mueller, Mario Götze and Manuel Neuer are a level above the stars of England. Basically, Germany, World Cup winners less than two years ago, are just better. Even in a friendly, this quality should see them through.
Prediction: Germany to win for 1.67 (2/3) at Bet365 Sportsbook
Bence – If it was a World Cup or a EURO match, I would definitely pick Germany to win. However, it’s only a friendly game, which on the one hand means that they have nothing to lose – but on the other hand, nothing to win either. In addition, England have been quite convincing during the Qualification matches, winning 10 out of 10 games – although, their greatest rival was Switzerland, so…
Yet the 100% success rate speaks for itself, no explanation is needed for that. England seem to be better and better lately, however I still think that the reigning World Cup holders will be able to avoid defeat in Berlin. I expect a show from Marco Reus and Mesut Özil, but we’ll also see if Vardy can shine away from Leicester City. I am hoping for a spectacular encounter between two great teams. I’d put my money on a draw – that seems to be the most likely outcome.
Prediction: draw for 3.80 (14/5) at Bet365 Sportsbook
Daniel – Many of those who bet on sports in the UK remember the 5–1 England win in Munich from 2001. That England side featured five players from a rolling Liverpool side that won five trophies in six months and they also contributed all the goals, Michael Owen scored a hat-trick, Steven Gerrard hit a screamer and Emile Heskey completed Oliver Kahn’s torture.
But that wasn’t the last away game they have played against Germany as they faced the hosts in Berlin in 2008 and also left with a win, 2–1 this time. And in their last outing in November, England won 2–0 against France, the side that defeated Germany by the same scoreline in the last game of the Nationalelf. So history kind of supports England as well as actual form as Germany have only won 8 of their last 15 games since the World Cup. I expect the in-form England forwards like Jamie Vardy, Harry Kane and possibly Daniel Sturridge run riot in Berlin.
