Lionel Messi is the greatest football star nowadays
Lionel Messi is not only the shiniest star of the Copa América, but also in the entire football world. Barcelona’s homegrown world-class player has won the Golden Ball 4 times, and has won every possible titles with his club, however, international success is still waiting for him as he lost the World Cup final last year against Germany, but he also lost the Copa América final in 2007.
Online gambling sites in Argentina believe that their world class player can lead the Albiceleste to continental success for the first time in his career. Argentina will play against Uruguay, Paraguay and Jamaica in the group stage so they have high chances of qualifying for the quarter-finals. Especially with a leader like Messi.
Real Madrid star James Rodríguez is very popular
James Rodriguez has become one of the most popular figures in the football world due to his amazing performances in the World Cup. He scored amazing goals which resulted in him being top scorer of 2014’s World Cup in Brazil in addition to claiming the Puskás Award, which is given each year for the player who scored the most beautiful goal of the season.
James Rodriguez was signed by Real Madrid right after the World Cup for an incredible transfer fee of EUR 80 million. The Colombian attacking midfielder has played in great form at the Royal Club and quickly became a key member. He scored many beautiful and important goals in his new club, and gave many assists. Now fans of Los Cafeteros also expect him to do something similar as he did during the World Cup, and give glorious moments to his nation.
Neymar is Brazil’s key player even though his young age
Neymar is playing in the shadows of Lionel Messi in his club, FC Barcelona, however he is undoubtedly the most famous player of the Brazilian national team. He was one of the most important member of Barcelona’s success in the league and for reaching the final in the Champions League and the Copa del Rey as well, yet everyone talks about Lionel Messi.
That’s not the case in Brazil though. In the country of The Selecao, Neymar is the most popular and famous and beloved person. They expect great things from the young attacker, who played well in the World Cup as well. Online sportsbooks believe his side is the second biggest favourite for claiming the title, the biggest candidate being Messi’s Argentina.
Alexis Sanchez has been improving at Arsenal
According to mobile betting sites, Alexis Sanchez has been playing for Barcelona and was always either in poor form or benched. He has left the Catalonian side for Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal and has been playing better ever since. His talent is acknowledged in London and his class is appreciated more than it was in Spain.
Sanchez is the most talented player in the squad of Chile’s national team so his mates can expect him to be the leader and get the results for his team. However, Chilean gambling news believe he will not be able to overcome the likes of Brazil and Argentina with his team, as the odds for Chile’s triumph are 5.00 (4/1) by PaddyPower.
Edinson Cavani is Uruguay’s only remaining star player
Now that Diego Forlan has retired from international football, and Luiz Suárez is banned from several international matches for biting Chiellini in the World Cup, Uruguay’s only remaining attacker star is PSG’s Edinson Cavani. Cavani played in great form in Napoli when Paris Saint-Germain bought him for a transfer fee of around EUR 60 million.
The Uruguayian striker now plays in the shadow of Swedish football star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, however he is rumoured to leave PSG for one of the best English clubs – Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are linked with the striker. Uruguay fans will hope to see him becoming a true leader and making Uruguay reach a place that they can be proud of.
Jefferson Farfán will be key figure at Peru’s attacks
Peruvian gambling news report that Jefferson Farfán is the very best player in the squad of the national team. Jefferson Farfán has played for Dutch side PSV for 4 years after Schalke 04 bought him in 2008 and has been playing for the Gelsenkirchen-based team ever since.
He has been key member in the German football club in the past 7 seasons and is a great attacker altogether. Farfán’s team is in the same group with Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela, 3 teams of among 2 are complete favourites, so according to gambling predictions, Peru will fight Venezuela fog getting the third place and qualify for the quarter-finals.
