• Napoli favorites to beat Palermo away
• Sassuolo will go head to head with Fiorentina
• AC Milan play hosts to Empoli on Sunday
According to Italian gambling news, Sassuolo will play against Fiorentina at home while Napoli will take on Palermo away. AC Milan will receive a visit from Empoli whetre they will attempt to get back into form and show everyone that they can still put on a fight. And finally, we will also take a look at thrilling game between AS Roma and Parma.
Sassuolo vs Fiorentina and Palermo vs Napoli
Sassuolo will face a stern test when against Fiorentina at home, a team that is far above them on the table. The hosts stand in 12th place with only 29 points and a home record of 3 wins, 6 draws and 1 loss, which is pretty bad considering that they showed promise at some points in the beginning of the current league campaign.
Fiorentina sit in 4th place with 35 points, however both their home and away record is somewhat unimpressive for a team of such high standing. While playing on the road they have managed to score 5 wins, but have also suffered 3 draws and 3 losses.
Bet365 still has high hopes for them to clinch a win 2.25 (5/4) against Sassuolo, while a draw has been set at 3.30 (23/10). A win for the home side is not likely 3.30 (23/10) looking at the recent results.
Palermo will clash with Napoli at home in what is looking to be an exciting match. The home side currently occupy 9th spot in the league and have accumulated an overall of 30 points from 22 games so far. During the last 5 games they notched 2 losses, 2 draws and only 1 win, which is why mobile betting provides in Italy don’t really hold them in high regard.
Napoli are in a completely different situation, as they are pushing hard to finish as high up on the table as possible. They currently sit in 3rd with 42 points overall, and over the last 5 encounters they recorded a great run that saw them lose only once and clinch 4 consecutive wins.
Bet365 has therefore made them the favorites 2.05 (12/11) for the upcoming game against Palermo. A win for the hosts stands at 3.60 (13/5), while a draw is 3.50 (5/2), an event that is unlikely.
AC Milan vs Empoli and AS Roma vs Parma
AC Milan recently suffered a loss when they visited Juventus (3-1), after initially clinching a win against Parma the week before. It is fair to say that the Rossoneri have lost their once prominent magical touch and will need a massive overhaul in the summer if they are to compete for the top trophies. At the San Siro their record is quite unimpressive (5 wins, 2 draws and 4 losses), however
Bet365 has given the favorite status 1.75 (3/4) against Empoli.
The visiting team have been dealt underdog odds 5.00 (4/1) due to their unconvincing form over the last 5 matches (2 losses, 2 draws and 1 win), while their record away from home stands at 1 win, 6 draws and 3 losses. Judging by the individual records of both sides, a draw 3.60 (13/5) does not seem to be on the cards for this game.
Parma will face a difficult task when they will go up against AS Roma away on Sunday afternoon, a side that is 2nd in Serie A and has a great record at home. Roberto Donadoni’s men are last in the league and have been going under some very tough times, with their current form being 5 straight losses. They haven’t won a game since 14th January when they defeated Cagliari at home 2:1.
AS Roma are enjoying a great run at the moment, and where it not for Juventus they would have probably been the team claiming the top of league. Their home record is quite great (7 wins, 4 draws and 0 losses), which is why online sportsbooks in Italy have earmarked them to win against Parma.
Bet365 has set their odds at 1.29 (2/7), while the visiting side have been dealt outsider chances 11.00 (10/1) and a draw stands at 5.50 (9/2).
