GamingZion analyzes the chances of every team before the 2015-16 Premier League season.
After discussing the sides that will possibly compete for the places granting European football, GamingZion’s comprehensive Premier League preview for the 2015-16 season covers the middle of the field.
• Swansea and Palace to progress
• West Ham in troublesome situation already
• Watch out for WBA surprise results
It seems that Swansea and Crystal Palace are two sides that were able to make a step forward, and they might be really exciting to watch. West Ham already faces injury troubles, while a promising revamp starts at Newcastle with Steve McClaren in charge. Surprise results will expectedly come from West Brom, so that won’t be surprising for many punters who bet on sports in the UK, but will grant some big earnings anyway.
Swansea Premier League preview: Top half is a good deal
From the middle of the field, Swansea might have a shot at European football. However, since their top 6 finish is priced at 15.00 (14/1) by Bet365 Sportsbook, it is not hard to see, that it might come through a cup success easier.Swansea is usually exciting to watch, and Garry Monk was able to strengthen his squad without loosing his most important players. Their aim is now eighth or better, at least top half in the Premier League. Swansea’s top 10 finish is available at 2.25 (5/4) at Bet365 Sportsbook, and that is surely an offer to consider.
Crystal Palace Premier League preview: Cabaye is an upgrade
Virtually everything that was mentioned above applies to Crystal Palace as well. They were impressive last season after Alan Pardew took over, beating Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Liverpool on the go. They only became stronger this season, and the arrival of the 10 million-pound French international midfielder, Yohan Cabaye, really indicates that this is another level. Pardew worked with him at Newcastle for years, so to integrate him to the side won’t be a problem. Palace are ambitious before the 2015-16 Premier League season, and their top 10 finish for 2.5 (6/4) at Bet365 Sportsbook looks tempting.
West Ham Premier League preview: Injuries as always
New manager Slaven Bilic, who replaced Sam Allardyce, signed a lot of new players, but also brings an approach that is different to his predecessor’s. How West Ham will react it is hard to say before the 2015-16 Premier League campaign started. Bilic already faces some injury problems, as Andy Carroll and Enner Valencia are both out for months. Key players getting injured is a permanent feature at Boleyn Ground, the arena that West Ham will abandon after the season to move to the Olympic Stadium. Top half finish would be their goal for the season, which goes for 3.00 (2/1) at Bet365 Sportsbook, but this seems questionable at this point according to many mobile betting players.
Newcastle Premier League preview: The start of a new chapter
After the arrival of Steve McClaren and his lieutenants, Newcastle United fans can be hopeful. However it doesn’t necessarily mean that Newcastle will fight for European football next spring. Maybe even asking for a top 10 finish would be too much with the current squad of the Magpies. Still, the work of the new coaching staff could be beneficial for later seasons, if they stay for the long. And they surely can plan for long unless they manage to get Newcastle relegated. A top 10 finish seems a longshot before the season, available at 3.5 (5/2) at Bet365 Sportsbook, but McClaren might find his starting eleven that could be able to do well in the Premier League.
West Brom Premier League preview: Pragmatism will bring some results
With Tony Pulis at helm, West Bromwich Albion can take the role of Crystal Palace. Won’t be exciting to watch if you look for beautiful football, but the Welsh manager’s pragmatic approach can bring some results that might raise a few eyebrows. So, betting on West Brom’s matches at online sportsbooks in the UK should be fun this season. WBA might not be the constant bully of the top five, but it will be considerable to back them against stronger sides that play possession football. And look for a Rickie Lambert double against Liverpool on the closing day of the season that might prevent the Reds to qualify for the Champions League and eventually cost Brendan Rodgers’ job…
In our next piece, that will be the last in this series, will cover the projected relegation zone, featuring newly promoted Bournemouth, Watford and Norwich, as well as Leicester, Aston Villa and Sunderland.
